I've made some significant changes to the registration process to require answers to 2 custom questions, and dropped the visual confirmation. While some folks may have noticed the few spammers that got through, there were several hundred non-activated spammers that Averen and I have had to deal with lately.

So, new folks who are confused, here's the cheat sheet. Pick the 2nd option, and enter 3.

Most spammers are too stupid or non-english speaking to read the above, so it's fine.

For those looking for a laugh, the new reg questions are:

Spammer Buccaneer Says...: *
If'n ye be not just a bot, best be clickin the latter, says I.

Drop-down with 2 options:

I be a foul miscreant wantin to plague your boards, arr. (Default, wrong)
Curse your black heart for suggestin I be a spammer

and

Quote:

Then, shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it.’

What shall be the number?

Defaults to 5, which is right out.

Let's pray to god this helps. And newb guildies who come to reg who get confused by it? I reserve the right to tell them they're too dumb to join.
